These terms apply to your use of the website soddoindub.yachts and to related enquiries and purchases with Livraria Maré, Rua de Santo António 31, 8000-283 Faro, Portugal. By using the site you agree to these terms. For data protection, see our privacy policy and cookie policy.
1. Who we are
Livraria Maré is an independent bookshop in Faro, Portugal. Contact: [email protected], +351 289 82 41 56.
2. Website content
Information on this site — including shelf descriptions, event listings, and sample titles — is provided for general information. Stock changes daily; availability is confirmed in the shop or by reply to your enquiry. We may update or remove content without notice.
3. Enquiries and reservations
Messages sent via the contact form or email are requests, not binding orders, until we confirm price, availability, and payment terms. Title reservations are held for a reasonable period agreed with you.
4. Purchases in the shop
In-store sales are subject to Portuguese consumer law, including the Consumer Protection Law (Lei de Defesa do Consumidor) and applicable rules on distance or off-premises contracts where relevant. Prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Please retain your receipt for exchanges or complaints.
5. Events
Event times and formats may change. Free events may still require registration when seats are limited. We are not liable for cancelled events beyond refunding any ticket fee we collected, where applicable.
6. Intellectual property
Website text, design, and our own photographs are owned by Livraria Maré or used under licence. Book covers and publisher materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. You may not copy site content for commercial use without permission.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website (including attempting to disrupt security, scrape content at scale, or submit abusive or unlawful messages). We may block access where misuse is reasonably suspected.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by Portuguese and EU law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Courts of Faro (or another competent Portuguese court under consumer rules) have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections if you reside elsewhere in the EU.
